A “Must See” in Yarmouth

Friday, June 13, 2014

If you haven’t yet been to Gray’s Beach (referred to as Bass Hole by the locals),  or are planning a trip to Yarmouth in the near future, put this location on your list as a “must do” while you’re visiting our lovely town. This 868 foot long boardwalk is located at the mouth of Garden Creek and features gorgeous greenery; extending over the salt marsh allows it to offer an excellent view of coastal plant and marine life.

Love this area? Want to leave your mark permanently? The Yarmouth Parks and Recreation Department has a Boardwalk Plank Program that allows people to pay special tribute to a loved one, commemorate a vacation or honor a person or pet in their life. Planks are engraved with up to 25 letters or characters (including spaces) and will be placed on the boardwalk for everyone to see.
